Pokemon Go comes later to the Netherlands due to overloading of the servers

Pokemon Go will not appear at the scheduled launch date in the Netherlands, as did developer informed Niantic. The company namely struggling with server problems due to the overwhelming interest in the game.

John Hanke, CEO at Niantic, let it know to Business Insider. This week began the developer with the rollout of Pokemon Go in some countries, for both iOS and Android. Due to the unexpectedly high influx of new players quickly showed that there is not enough server capacity, so users can not log on.

The lack of server capacity Niantic put the rollout of Pokemon Go temporarily. That means that the scheduled release in countries such as the UK and the Netherlands will be later than planned, says Hanke. When Dutch access the game is not yet clear; it depends on when Niantic ‘feel comfortable’ feel to restart the deployment. An alternative way of installing remains possible for Android users, by installing the installer file on the smartphone.

Pokemon Go is an augmented-reality game, which uses the camera of the smartphone to explore the world and to catch Pokémon. The game concept is similar to Ingress, which has also been developed by Niantic.
