Polaroid Cube + camera using smartphone as a viewfinder




Polaroid announced a new edition of its action camera, the Cube +. The gem is now equipped with WiFi, allowing owners of Android or iOS devices can operate the camera via their smartphone or tablet.

Polaroid Cube The application allows users photos and videos of the Cube + directly edit and share or use the phone display as a viewfinder. The first Cube was last August launched . Downside was that it was difficult to focus the camera well, because the Cube had no screen. That problem has now been solved if the user connects the Cube + with a device screen.

Polaroid shows the Cube + on the CE Week 2015 in New York. Little has changed the look of the camera; which measures still 35x35mm. In addition to the WiFi module seems little else changed. The resolution of the camera is not mentioned anywhere, making it likely that the specifications are the same as in the first Cube. Who holds a zesmegapixelcamera and has a wide angle of 124 °. Videos can be played at 1080p or 720p.

A dollar price has not been disclosed, but in the US the camera should go on sale for $ 150, which amounts to about 135 euros.
