Polder pioneers is back! In this first episode we are going to visit chip architect Bram Nauta. In the late eighties he designed a circuit later indispensable for lots of electronics and now bears his name: the “Nauta’ circuit. Companies such as Nokia, Ericsson and Texas Instruments use its design and use in mobile phones, televisions and other electronics.

Nowadays Nauta Professor of Integrated Circuit Design at the University of Twente. Together with his team of students and colleagues, he works daily on new technical challenges in the field of wireless communications. So go mobile phones, thanks to its design more energy efficient, the speed of data transfer and increases the signal is better.
