Polder to the Valley – Tinkering with photo-chat app in San Francisco




Private tech company set up is rarely an easy matter, but rather a process of trial and error. It also knows the Dutchman Onno Faber, CEO of Taps tack, under the same name has uploaded a photo-chat app in the App Store and Play Store. Today he lives and works in San Francisco, where he with a heavy dose of venture capital and a small team tinkers with his app.

It took a while before Onno was there. The app Taps Tack first went under a different name through life. That app again was based on an earlier application by the company, which ended the neck was twisted. Many iterations were necessary so to come here, as well as many workplaces. From Delft went Onno and his co-founders ie not directly to Silicon Valley; they made a stopover in Berlin.

Onno we were looking up at the office of Taps Tack in downtown San Francisco. There he told how to start a business from scratch, developing an app, investors binds you and finally crosses the pond. Not for big money, but with a clear vision in mind.
