Power Router’ can wireless charging equipment
The start-up Energous has a wireless charging system shown at CES that different devices in a room can charge wirelessly. The WattUp system, which uses a ‘Power Router, “focuses RF signals to compatible devices over distances up to six meters.
Power Router WattUp the system recognizes compatible devices using a low-energy Bluetooth connection. On the basis of this information, mobile devices can be located, after which a small devices that have on-board IC chip can be charged with targeted RF signals in the 2.4 GHz band.
