Project Spark-game Microsoft is now completely free

Microsoft decided that the dlc for free-to-play game Spark Project also will be free. Anyone who game on or after July 28 has bought, gets his money back in the form of Microsoft Store credit. This also applies to purchased in-game tokens.

Project Spark is a game for Xbox One and Windows 8.1 and later, which players themselves can make a game or a movie. In October last year, Microsoft released the game out. Players could get the game itself free and had to pay with cash or in-game earned tokens for dlc that their creations are filled. The tokens could also be earned in the course of the game. That is, after this update, the only way to get the tokens, and so extra content to unlock.

Microsoft speaks sure Spark Project a micro-transaction business model to a free and open creation engine going. It is not clear exactly how Microsoft intends to keep Project Spark commercially viable and what that kind of impact that will have on the viability of the game in the long term.

In addition to switching to a completely free model, Microsoft has released an update for the game scheduled for October 5th. Players can stop a plot in their creations that is twice as big as before and may fill this field with 500 extra props. There are also more than 200 new assets added creators will soon have 100 upload slots for their creations, and more.
