QNAP introduces its first NAS systems with AMD quad cores
QNAP has announced four NAS systems with AMD quad cores. It involves two 8bay models, a 6bay variant and a 4bay-nas. One of the 8bay models get a standard 10GbE port.
The storage in the TVS x63 series have an AMD Embedded G-Series soc with four cores, clocked at 2.4 GHz and a Radeon GPU. The chips provide, among other things to support up to 16GB of memory, hardware encryption capabilities, and support for AMD-V virtualization.
The systems have further SATA 600 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, PCI-E and 10GbE. There are also five USB 3.0 ports and there is twice HDMI. QNAP rest TVS-863 + standard with 10GbE and 8bay this model also get 8GB memory. TVS-863 is a variant with 4GB ram, while TVS-663 has to do with six drive bays and as much RAM. TVS-463 finally has a 4bay model with 4GB of ram. Later this month should the NAS systems come to market for unknown prices.Viewing:-136
