QNAP provides TS-563 Turbo NAS AMD processor




QNAP has on the business market-oriented 5-bay NAS released, which is equipped with a quad-core AMD processor. The NAS is expandable with 10Gb Ethernet and can be equipped with up to 16GB of memory.

The TS-563 Turbo is equipped with an AMD Embedded G-Series, a quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz. QNAP NAS provides the standard with 2GB or 8GB of memory, but there is room for up to 16GB. In the five drive bays are SATA-600 drives support up to 8TB, representing a gross storage of 40TB.

QNAP NAS says that the option of two 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections may be provided by a PCI-E Express expansion slot. Standard found there are two Gigabit Ethernet ports on the device.
