Quake Champions get free playable version

Quake Champions league shooter where id Software is working on, will be a free version. It is a standard single playable character and in-game money other characters can be temporarily unlocked. In the paid version all the characters are always available.

The character that is playable in the free version, Ranger. A man with a big armor and rifle doing slightly reminiscent of the protagonist of the Doom games. During gameplay players called favorites earn -valuta which they can temporarily make other playable characters. Who would rather have the freedom of choice at all times, can the Champion Pack purchase, which cost a fixed amount. How much that is, is not known at this time. Gameplay on the playing field should remain unchanged.

In an interview with Polygon says creative director Tim Willits that id Software will go along with this decision in the gaming trends of the times and the widest possible audience wants to address. Willits also states that the development team a sense of grinding , repetitive tasks purely to earn currency, wants to avoid. Earning and spending in his favor is just fun. It can also be issued to favor the ‘discovery’ of new Champions and skins.

Sometime in the next few weeks, the closed beta of Quake Champions started. The registrations for this are now also open. When the game comes not known at this time.
