Find a Question:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 600E and 410E for the Internet of Things
Qualcomm has introduced the two SoCs Snapdragon 600E and 410E. The “E” in this case stands for “Embedded”. So should be primarily intended for applications such as digital signage, set-top boxes, medical imaging, industrial robotics, and other applications from the Internet of Things (IoT) both processors. For the first time are Qualcomm from the sales of Snapdragon chips to external distributors, so that they are partners on those for IoT products.
Qualcomm offers among the models of Snapdragon for the embedded field quite a large range of: development boards, commercially sophisticated modules and processors for chip-on-board designs. Now partners can provide and serve up some Qualcomm Snapdragon 600E and 410E immediately. As international partners the way to act in the first step Arrow Electronics.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600E provides four cores Krait-300 base 1.5GHz clock. As GPU Adreno 320 is used in combination with a Hexagon DSP. Also supporting this SoC Bluetooth 4.0 / LE. Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS and SATA, both SD3.0, DDR RAM, eMMC memory, HDMI, LVDS, HSIC and PCIe. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410E proves little brother with four cores and 1.2 GHz and the GPU Adreno 306 – again with Hexagon DSP. Here is support for Bluetooth 4.1 / LE Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, and GPS on board.
The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 600E and 410E will support at least 10 years, Qualcomm. They should be at least available to 2025th For partners of the manufacturer’s sales through Arrow Electronics is advantageous in that they can order the processors relatively flexible in different quantities and reorder. It will be interesting if we as private customers too directly insight into the devices, which are fueled by the new SoCs.Viewing:-111
