Quantic Dream announces new game called Detroit on




The French Quantic Dream, the studio behind Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls has announced its newest game Detroit. In the game, players take the role of a female android in a futuristic version of the American city.

David Cage of Quantic Dream reveals the game at the Paris Games Week press conference of Sony. The Frenchman says he with the game itself and players will ask what exactly it means to be human. In the game, players take namely the role of a “woman” which is actually an android, but nonetheless offers self-consciousness and emotions. In footage from the first trailer of the game can be seen that the population of Detroit the androids in any case, much less than human; the robots are used as tools and are here and subject to abuse.

Detroit carries the tagline Become Human and developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4. As often with announcements of such triple-a- games is further very little known about the game. The images from the trailer would in any case come straight from the engine of the game. In addition, it can be assumed, based on the previous titles of Quantic Dream, the story will play a very prominent role in the game.
