Ramadan on Twitter




Celebrating a month of Ramadan this year, Twitter announced its cooperation with leading brands to provide a special campaign for Twitter users in the U.A.E. and the other States of the Middle East and North Africa.

While some 1.6 billion Muslims receives worldwide month of Ramadan this year, this initiative to support brand through the entire community, gathering under the theme of doing good in the good season, using marking one: #معاً_أكرم and English #MoreGenerousTogether
The initiative spans over six consecutive days starting from June 28 until July 3. Brands participate in Ramadan campaign: shop walked, Abdul Latif Jameel company to finance, Inc. company, ALOMAR Arabic Oud, disabled children’s Association, and the traveler.

And millions of people from all over the world have participated in 2013 more than 74.2 million Tweet about Ramadan, bringing the number in 2014 to over 215 million Tweet from around the globe.

On this occasion, said ambon, head of sales at Twitter for the Middle East and North Africa: “Ramadan is a month of mercy, communicate, and racing people, individually and collectively, to charity. To mark the holy month of Ramadan, we are proud to offer the community a unique opportunity to connect deeper in new ways. ”

For the second week of Ramadan, will use the same tag in different company-sponsored promotional tweets each day, to highlight the charitable activities and encourage people to participate in discussions urges people to give generously throughout the month. Every day of the week, the sponsoring brand will be published today a series of Tweets related to the tag #معاً_أكرم, gives users a great means of giving charity and doing good during the holy month.
