Release Windows version No Man’s Sky final postponed to August 12
The release of No Man’s Sky for Windows is officially delayed again, this time until August 12th. Previously, this August 9, as with the release of the PlayStation 4 release in North America. Sean Murray, lead developer of the game, confirmed that on Twitter.
One reason for the new, small delay gives Murray not. There was already some confusion about the release date of the Windows version of the highly anticipated game since the release dates on the Steam Store page, which did not correspond to the product page of developer Hello Games. The date on the Steam page has been adapted to help the confusion of the world. As it stands now, the PS4 version on August 9 released in North America on August 10 in Europe and is the Windows version so worldwide on 12 August.
It is not to make the first time that No Man’s Sky will postponement of the release. Previously was the release scheduled for June, for example. In addition, developer Hello Games had to deal with other obstacles, such as a conflict over brand names with British TV channel Sky and a possible problem concerning patents from a Dutch company. The first conflict is resolved and the second is probably never really been a problem. No Man’s Sky since the beginning of July off and since then working studio on the first major update for the game.
