Report: Social networks effectively support the work of the companies in the Arab world

An opinion poll conducted by the LinkedIn network on social networks and included small and medium-sized companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council also showed that 92% of more than a sample of 260 companies participated in this survey already utilize platforms of social networking in their work, while 5% of companies surveyed views are now in the process establish a presence on these platforms. And social networking platforms allow these companies to access and communicate effectively with customers, partners and other stakeholders.

Abou Zaki added that these channels provide small and medium-sized businesses advantages such as communication, transparency and designated by the gain a strong competitive advantage in the market. In Dubai, for example, small and medium enterprises make up 95% of the total local companies, representing 42% of the workforce and contributes about 40% of the emirate’s economy.

As small and medium-sized companies in Saudi Arabia accounts for about 33% of GDP and accounted for about 25% of the total workforce. The sector of small and medium companies in Bahrain is more lively, with a market share 99% of the total registered companies in the UK and employs more than 421.000 people, of whom more than 52,000 Bahraini nationals.
