Revealed a mysterious ring galaxy

Zw II 28

Galaxies may have a different form. Isolated clusters of elliptical, circular spiral systems, barred galaxies, irregular, and other galaxies. They can be observed with a telescope Hubble Space Telescope . But scientists are attracted most attention the objects that are not like the others. These include the ring galaxy. One of these astronomers studied NASA.

It is considered that ring galaxies are formed by the collision of two galaxies. Likelihood of physical damage in a collision is minimal, despite the disruptive gravitational forces of the two galaxies. As a result, changes in the structure of galaxies, forming a dense central core surrounded by bright stars.

System Zw II 28 in the form of purple rings are similar to a standard ring galaxy in the absence of a visible nucleus. At least, that was considered for many years as scientists have not succeeded with the help of a powerful telescope to discern a potential companion, hidden deep inside the galaxy. Core was barely discernible due to strong galactic glow ring.
