Rex Mundi has financial data of thousands of Belgians captured’




The notorious hacker group Rex Mundi, the financial data of at least 24,000 Belgians have captured a hack. Victim Antwerp lender AFC Appropriations, as discovered The Register Friday.

As evidence for the cracking Rex Mundi placed the data of a number of Belgians on the site of AFC Appropriations, as writes The Register. Thereupon is currently on the default page of Plesk after, nothing to see. The website of the lender is also gone black.

The Antwerp company was Monday already been warned by Rex Mundi through a banner on the company website. Then who Thursday was still on, Rex Mundi went according to The Register about a threat. AFC Appropriations would have until Friday to pay ransom. If it does not, the group would pay all the information they put online has held.

Across The Register weakened a spokeswoman off the threat, although she emphasized that the company was indeed a victim.
