Roadmap shows Intel NUC with Core i9

that will be released at the end of 2019
Two Intel road maps have appeared online that show the release schedule of the small NUC PCs. For example, at the end of 2019, at the beginning of 2020, the NUC Ghost Canyon should appear, with a mobile Core i9 octacore.

The roadmaps about which Videocardz writes have appeared on the Chinese site PCEva and the authenticity has not been proven so that it is still a rumor. One roadmap shows the NUCs with Core i9 and Core i7, the others with a Core i3 and Core i5. The top model is the NUC codenamed Ghost Canyon, which would contain Intel processors in the H-series. The most powerful model is, according to the overview, a Core i9 in the 9-series, a processor with eight cores and sixteen threads and a tdp of 45W.

Ghost Canyon variants with Core i7 and Core i5 from the ninth generation also appear in early 2020. The NUCs have to do with the Intel UHD gpu of the processor and they can contain up to 32GB ddr4. In addition, they get two Thunderbolt 3 ports and hdmi 2a.

The roadmap also includes the Frost Canyon, a NUC with Core i7 and Core i5 quadcores in the U-series of processors with tdp of 15W. These reportedly appear in the third quarter of 2019 and include a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

In the first quarter of 2019, the Islay Canyon would appear, a NUC with Core i5-8265U and an AMD Radeon 540X. It contains a hdd of 1TB, usb-c 3.1 Gen2 port, hdmi 2.0b and display port 1.2. It is not the first time that Intel has provided a NUC with a Radeon 540-gpu, which was done earlier at the Crimson Canyon .
