Robot planter runs automatically to the light

It is not given to everyone to keep plants, one has no green fingers, in another the room position is simply not ideal: plants can get too much or too little light. For the latter, CEO Vincross built his six-legged robot into a walking pot.

Nature made plants very passive, according to Vincross’s ceo when he said he saw a withered sunflower that did not get a glimmer of sunlight. He then decided to convert the HEXA robot of his company. Since then, the programmable robot has been carrying a fat plant of the Echeveria genus.

The director does not give much details about his project, but short films show that the HEXA is running towards the sun or shadow. The walking planter can also rotate to illuminate all sides of the plant.

With the current drought in the Benelux it would be useful if the HEXA could also walk to the crane itself and give his green co-driver water. Perhaps there is something to be thought of by linking the HEXA to the Parrot Flower Power .
