Helicopters are versatile vehicle capable of performing various maneuvers in the air and take people to different parts of the planet. But when it comes to takeoff and landing vehicle only requires a flat surface, the search which becomes extremely difficult in combat or rescue operations. To resolve this situation, the Agency Defense Advanced Research Projects United States (DARPA) is developing a robotic system chassis, allowing helicopters easily sit down and take off in the absence of the corresponding surface. The developed design consists of four movable “legs” with sensors, by which examines the surface of intended landing and take the relevant provisions of the limb to the helicopter stable villages. Adaptive system replaces the usual chassis and, according to developers, is much more effective than them. In addition, the robot chassis is easy to install, only slightly increases the weight of the machine, reducing the risk of damage from hard landings by 80%, while the helicopter can take off / land on the surface with a slope of 20 degrees.Viewing:-178
