Rocksteady, makers of the previous Batman game Arkham Knight, has announced a new title in the franchise called Batman: Arkham VR. The game comes in October exclusively for PlayStation VR.

Rocksteady mentions that it had announced in the past that Arkham Knight would be his last Batman game, but the PlayStation VR there has been change. The company says they want to continue with the ‘be the Batman’ theme and want to expand it.

Thus it is possible in the VR game to explore Wayne Manor and the Batcave, something fans according Rocksteady has long called for. The transition to Sun was the studio a “technical and creative challenge” which has ensured that there is much emphasis on the detective skills of Batman. The game revolves around the mystery surrounding a murder and try to apply the style from the comic books, says Rocksteady.

Since the game comes out in October, it is likely that this will be done simultaneously with the PlayStation VR on 13 October.
