Rumor: Android 5.0 update for existing Nexus devices coming out November 12

The Android 5.0 update for existing Nexus devices like the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 is according to a new rumor on 12 November. Google would like to solve some bugs before the update Android Lollipop offers to users.

The update was first scheduled for release this week, but Google has that shifted by about a week, reports Android Police founder Artem Russakovskii on Google+ as a reaction to his own post. He draws on an unnamed source. Android Police is known for publishing accurate information about unreleased Google products and software.

The expectation was that Android 5.0 Lollipop would come from existing Nexus devices on Monday, as it would be when the new Nexus 9 went on sale and the first copies of the Nexus 6 extradited. What bugs the release have stopped, not reports. Russakovskii

Google announced Android 5.0 in June as Android and L gave last month more details. With the new version of the Android operating system gets a lot of new features and functions, such as notifications on the lock screen, and a design that Google describes as “material design. Google has in recent weeks been updated with many apps that “material design” as the Play Store, Calendar and Gmail. Android 5.0 comes out for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and the Nexus 10.
