Apple would like to rest from 2018 iPads with OLED screens may also be flexible. Making a completely new design for the tablets available, says the generally reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

With a bendable screen is a new design possible changes in “user behavior”, reports MacRumors on the basis of a report from the analyst, who has often proved in the past to have throbbing information. Presumably, Kuo suggests therewith on folding models for example, which thus allow for a larger screen in a smaller design.

If the iPads have OLED screens, iPhones they will follow in that trend. Go long been rumors that Apple since 2017 for its smartphones will use such screens, which competitors like Samsung use for many years in smartphones. With the advent of Google’s VR platform Daydream, it appears that almost all high-end Android smartphones go OLED screen gain .

If Apple goes to OLED screens for tablets and smartphones, it is not the first Apple product with the panel technology. The Apple Watch has an OLED screen, while rumor has it that a new MacBook Pro that will appear later this year replaces the function keys for an OLED screen.

Before that, Apple would release an iPad 2 Pro 12.9 “screen and iPad Pro with 10.5” screen. Both probably have an Apple-A10X soc. In addition, there would appear a cheaper iPad with 9.7 “screen and presumably a A9X-soc. Kuo says nothing about the smaller 7.9” series of iPad Minis.
