Rumor: Canon announces next week to 53-megapixel camera

Rumor has it that next Friday Canon announces a host of new products, including two DSLR’s with more than 50 megapixels. This rumor has been doing the rounds for longer, but is becoming more likely. Also, Sony and Nikon would soon come with 50+ -megapixelcamera programs.

According to sources from Canonrumors.com involves two cameras with a full frame sensor of 53 megapixels. Probably play two versions with and without low-pass filter, like the Nikon D800 and D800E time. Canon would be a camera like a big step, because currently the EOS 5D Mark III offers the highest resolution 22 megapixel. Sony and Nikon both have some time with 36 megapixel cameras in their portfolio. It is unclear under what name the new model comes out.

Furthermore, there are also quite a few other products expected. These would be for the EOS 750D, EOS M3 system camera, the previously leaked EF 11-24mm f / 4L and some PowerShot cameras. According to other rumors come Sony and Nikon in the short term with a 50-megapixel camera to come. According Canonrumors would the manufacturer on Friday, February 6th have an event in which the company proposes the new cameras.

The cameras from Canon, do not come as a surprise. Late last year, confirmed to work on all Canon cameras with high resolutions.
