Rumor: HTC creates two Nexus smartphones Google

HTC is according to a new rumor from two different sources this year, two Nexus smartphones for Google. Possibly the case of devices with different sizes, just as the Nexus 5X and 6P of past year.

Twitter user @evleaks reports the code names S1 and M1, while Android Police, which often first information about new Nexus devices brought out which code names linking to Sailfish and Marlin. Nexus devices have invariably code names referring to marine animals like Shamu Nexus 6 by Motorola and Hammerhead Nexus 5 by LG.

Both @evleaks as Android Police report also little information about the new phones, although Android Police earlier T50 and T55 has been reported as code names, names that may refer to screen sizes of 5 “and 5.5”.

Google plans to release its Nexus phones invariably around the release of its new Android version. Android N has already had to download preview versions of some public and is due for release by the end of the summer, probably August or September.

The last time that HTC made a Nexus device, the Nexus 9 tablet was 2014. It disappeared this week from the Play Store. The latest smartphone from the Nexus line designed HTC was the first: the Nexus One Google released early 2010.
