Rumor: Intel wants to delete thousands of jobs
Intel may disappear again jobs. That would have to deal with disappointing results, as stated in rumors. The chip designer has already reduced its workforce several times in recent years.
The news is coming from the American newspaper The Origonian, which notifies to be brought by multiple sources inside Intel. There were plans to lay off a total of “thousands” of people already were mentioned no precise figures. The sacked the workforce in some branches of the company could go down by tens of percents. Also, some offices could be closed as part of the reorganization.
Intel has himself not officially confirmed that it will reduce its workforce. According to the sources of The Origonian can be done no earlier than Tuesday, when the company presents its latest quarterly results.
It would not be the first time that Intel dismisses employees. Last year there were deleted 1,100 jobs in the United States, and two years ago disappeared even 5,000 jobs.
