Rumor: iOS 9 mainly includes optimizations and no major new features

Apple will iOS 9 focus on improvements in the stability and speed of the mobile operating system, while not reach many important new features. Claiming the generally well-established 9to5 Mac based on anonymous sources.

This would have the same function as iOS 9 OS X Snow Leopard in 2009, Apple also vaunting as update which would improve the system stability and speed, draws 9to5 Mac. The site has often shown in the past to have good sources about developments within the company from Cupertino. In recent years, Apple has added many new features to iOS, including Apple Pay, Healthkit and Homekit in iOS 8 and the new, flatter interface and Touch ID iOS 7 .

Besides the focus on optimizations wants Apple iOS 9 also address the size of updates. Users with devices that have a storage capacity of 8GB or 16GB should therefore usually remove apps or data if they want to install an update.

Apple releases since 2007, each year a new version of its mobile operating system. Recent years, Apple introduced the new iOS for iPhones and iPads for its developer conference WWDC, which invariably takes place in June.

Meanwhile, the company released the first version of iOS 8.3 to developers offered. That developers already 8.3 can run stands out, because Apple version 8.2 for consumers has not even released.
