Rumor: iPhone gets in 2017 and AMOLED curved housing

According to one analyst, Apple is planning next year to release an iPhone equipped with an AMOLED screen. The company would like to introduce a curved casing and screen, and choose a different design than the current iPhone.

The rumors come from Ming-Chi Kuo who works at KGI Securities, as reported 9To5Mac. In the past, Kuo has repeatedly proved to be reliable with respect to statements about new Apple products. According to the analyst, Apple for the iPhone which will release next year, some major changes are planned, in which the design is to be changed.

Kuo claims that Apple is planning a 5.8 “-iPhone to issue a AMOLED screen in a case similar to that of the iPhone 4. It would, despite the larger screen be smaller device than the current 5.5” -model. Moreover, it would Apple’s 4.7 “model like, be kept. Furthermore, the housing would be curved and probably mostly are constructed of glass. As with the iPhone 4, the glass would be located at the front and back, with sides of metal. the new design would also ensure that the iPhone better in the hand.

Wireless charging also should be possible according to Kuo, though he says does not want or Apple use its own technology. Further, it would now work on the scanning of physical characteristics, so that, for example, individuals can be identified on the basis of face recognition or on the basis of the eyes.

There have been going longer rumors about an iPhone with AMOLED screen, but these are still not become a reality. Since the release of the Apple smartphone mentioned by Kuo is still far away, the plans could still change
