Rumor: LG is working on Nexus device with 5.2 “screen

Google comes this year with a gain LG-made successor to the Nexus 5 with a 5.2 “screen. The Nexus 6 this year would a successor who would come Huawei from the factories. However, Google this year would not have a tablet want to release.

The LG-made device with 5.2 “screen would presumably run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808. The South Korean manufacturer used the same SOC for its G4 smartphone. The code name for the LG handset would be Angler, reports the usually reliable Android Police. The battery should have a capacity of about 2700mAh. It would be the first “smaller” Nexus device since the Nexus 5 was published in 2013.

Huawei is also working on a device codenamed Bullhead, with its 5.7 “screen more as successor would apply to the Nexus 6 , which has a 6 “screen has. That unit would run on a Snapdragon SOC 810, also from Qualcomm. That would be remarkable, because Huawei for its top models invariably makes his own socs in the Kirin line. The new Huawei P8 , for example, has a 930-Kirin soc. Huawei would like to deploy a battery with a capacity of about 3500mAh.

Android Police is holding a blow to the arm, because the release could still alter the characteristics of the aircraft. That happened last year, when Google and Motorola fingerprint scanner took away from the Nexus 6.

The new Nexus devices should be around October and run on Android M, the upcoming Android version that Google probably announce this week.
