Rumor: Microsoft’s new browser supports Chrome extension

The browser that Microsoft would work under the name Spartan, supports running Chrome extension, according to Neowin. By his own extension platform almost identical to that of Chrome, Microsoft would developers want to make.

Neowin know not whether the Chrome extension 100 percent natively run on Spartan, but the way they are implemented would be almost identical as with Google’s browser. Developers might therefore easily able to update their extensions on Spartan. The site relies on its own source and a Pastebin -dump Spartans extension API, which Twitter user h0x0d put online.

With support for Chrome extensions, Microsoft developers would not have to identify extensions to create a whole new platform. The group would expansions faster this way for its new browser offer. Microsoft holds an event Wednesday for Windows 10, where the company is going to launch the browser, in all likelihood.
