Nvidia brings in the period of August and September, the first mid-range video cards with GPUs GP106-out, claiming the Swedish tech site SweClockers. The midrange products thus follow the high-endkaarten, which are expected in the summer.

The architecture based on the Pascal-GP106 must follow after the summer the GM206-based Maxwell. The GM206 is used for the GeForce GTX 960 and GTX 950. Recent versions of that card have a TDP of 75W and therefore require no additional power connector. The same will apply to the midrange cards with the GP106 because of architecture enhancements and production on a 16nm process, writes SweClockers, which has a good reputation when it comes to rumors about video cards.

The midrange cards appear after the GTX 1080 and 1070 with GP104 GPU which Nvidia late May, the Computex trade show in Taiwan, will announce. According HWBattle is Nvidia now supply the GTX 980 and 970 with GM204 and GTX 980 Ti with GM200 stopped to partners, in preparation for the transition to the cards with Pascal gPU.

Tuesday released an image of the cooler of the GTX 1080. Nvidia announced in early April the first Pascal GPU during its GPU Technology Conference. These GP100 appear until early 2017 at the Tesla P100 for use in servers and supercomputers.
