Rumor: Next Call of Duty game is set in space

The end of this year planned version of Call of Duty is going to be able to play in space. The game would have let other semi-futuristic parts of the series seem old-fashioned by itself much further to play in the future.

The game includes fighting in the area and will be fully sci-fi, so sign NeoGAF user shinobi602 and Eurogamer . Shinobi has also correct information about upcoming CoD titles brought out in the past. He knew to sign up for the release of Black Ops III that could be run and which characters would have mechanical arms in the game over walls. He also knew to say that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game were made by a different studio than the previous versions. Eurogamer says other anonymous sources have heard information that corresponds to the claims of shinobi.

The game is being developed by Infinity Ward, but no direct sequel to Ghosts, the previous CoD game from the developer. This is remarkable because the first mission from the campaign of Ghosts took place in the space and in the Extinction mode were all aliens present.

How the game will be called is not yet known, but Activision, the publisher of the game series, still has the rights to include the phrase ‘Future Warfare. The rights to the more appropriate title ‘Space Warfare publisher gave earlier on. The game is likely to be developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
