Rumor: Nintendo NX hybrid with powerful chips

Nintendo’s upcoming console, provisionally named NX, will consist of a console and a mobile device. The two parts are both together and separately and to use Nintendo’s’ leading chips use, claims the Wall Street Journal.

The American newspaper, which has good sources within the tech industry, writes that the mobile part of the NX is underway to use, unlike the GamePad Wii U. Nintendo aim would be to use industry-leading chips. This could also be an indication of efficient chips, but the newspaper writes emphatically that will choose the company for leading chips because of the criticism that the Wii U compared to the PS4 and Xbox One is not powerful enough.

Details on the NX provides the WSJ no further, but it seems that Nintendo is on track to bring the system in 2016. The company would in fact already be started with the distribution of the SDK for the NX. This is a sign that the hardware will probably change no more. Game developers can now start creating or porting of games for the console, so that they are ready for the introduction of the device.

Sdk’s provision is in line with previous rumors which starts the production of the console in the autumn of 2015. Nintendo might be in a hurry with the launch, since the sales of the Wii U disappointing since its introduction.
