Rumor: photos of midrange version of Pixel 3 appear online

A Russian blog has posted photos of an alleged midrange version of Pixel 3. This source also leaked the Pixel 3 XL. According to the Russians, this Pixel has a 5.56 “-ips screen and the camera is of the same quality as the other two Pixel 3’s.

According to the blog called Rozetked, the phone has the code name Sargo. That is a name that recently came up in an update to the Google ARCore app. In addition to the presence of the same camera, it is immediately noticeable that this version of the Pixel does have a 3.5 mm jack, where the other Pixel devices no longer have since the Pixel 2 of last year.

The soc would be a Snapdragon 670, a less powerful one than the 845 of the Pixel 3 that is already out, so the price of the device is expected to be much lower. The phone has 4GB of ram and has to do with 32GB of storage. The whole is supplied with power from a 2915mAH battery, unchanged compared to the Pixel 3.

The housing is made of plastic instead of glass. The speakers are not at the front, but at the bottom. The screen is therefore not oled like the other Pixel 3, but the resolution is the same as with the Pixel 3: 2220×1080 pixels.

The Russians say they have no information about the other phone whose code name last leaked: Bonito. He would have a Snapdragon 710-soc on board, which may mean that it will be the XL variant of the phone that has leaked here. When these supposed Pixel devices are released, it is not known.
