Rumor: Samsung comes with cheap Dual-SIM phone with 4g




There are images appeared online Galaxy J1, the first smartphone from Samsung’s upcoming budget range of Android devices. There is next to a 3G version a Dual-SIM version of the device with 4G support.

After the previous Galaxy A series of metal phones and Galaxy E series of midrange devices, the Galaxy J1 the first of a yet to announce budget line from Samsung. Thus it would be the third new line of Android smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer in a few months time.

The Galaxy J1 has a 4.3 “screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and runs on a Marvell PXA1908-soc. There are 4G versions in both single-sim as dualsim variants with a front camera with a maximum resolution of two megapixels while there is also a version seems to be that only 2G and 3G support and a VGA camera on the front.

The phone would run on Android 4.4 with Samsung’s own skin over it and various features that not long ago were reserved for more expensive models, such as Ultra Power Saving Mode from the Galaxy S5.

The date on the marketing material is January 14th. This date does not always correspond with the date of announcement, but often it is not far off. Therefore it is obvious that Samsung will present the phone quickly. The MSRP for a possible release in the Netherlands and Belgium is still unknown.
