Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S10 gets two lenses on the front and three on the back

According to the South Korean website The Bell, the Samsung Galaxy S10 not only has three cameras on the back, but also two lenses on the front. It is still unclear where those two possible camera lenses are used on the front.

South Korean The Bell says that it relies on experts from the parts industry. They report that Samsung does not just integrate the two twelve-megapixel cameras of the Galaxy S9 + on the back of the S10; an ultra-wide angle lens with a resolution of sixteen megapixels and an angle of view of 120 degrees would also be added; the angle of view of the wide-angle lens on the S9 + does not go beyond 77 degrees. These three cameras not only allow the user to take photographs with different viewing angles, but also enable more advanced applications for augmented reality.

On the front, the S10 would get a double camera, although no further details or specifications were mentioned. It is possible that the second front camera is used like the Samsung Galaxy A8, where the second camera is used to blur the background. However, the dual camera can also be used for 3D face recognition for authentication purposes or other 3d applications.
