Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S7 will release in March 2016

Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7, may get a release in March of 2016. That is the date which is mentioned in a presentation of China Mobile, a major Asian telecom provider, as part of the plans for the near future.

The picture was made by someone who was in the audience during the presentation. He or she then posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. From there, the picture is further spread over several sites, including G for Games. Although the text is in Chinese, according to translations would allow the release of the S7 takes place in March of next year. If the date turns out to be correct, this is probably a more or less global release; the flagship devices from Samsung get this for some time.

Samsung would unveil the device in late February at the Mobile World Congress officially. In all, there were at least four variants of the S7 come on the market, according to insider and reliable source of leaks Evan Blass.

Samsung has already announced some of the components that may enter the unit, including a Briton Cell-camera with rwb format and the Exynos 8890 -soc with self-designed cores. Samsung’s own Exynos next would also use the Snapdragon 820 of Qualcomm.
