Rumor: Samsung working on smartphone with dual screens

A new rumor hint that Samsung is working on a smartphone with dual screens, allowing users to move things on screen via gestures from one to the other display. Samsung is not yet far with the development of the device.

The device is codenamed Project Valley, says SamMobile, the Dutch Samsung fansite that is often right information about unannounced Samsung products. It is still unclear what features Samsung has devised for use of the two screens.

SamMobile speculates that the use of the two screens may indicate that it probably could be a device such as old flip phones, which can be folded open. In addition, it would be that it is a flexible OLED display , which is designed to fold in if the user closes the device. Samsung said earlier that it would release a foldable smartphone.

The Dutch site indicates that Valley Project is still so early in development that Samsung may decide to cancel it. Samsung has been busy developing phones for its technology of curved screens. So earlier this year brought the S6 Edge off, with a screen that curves around the edges.
