Rumor: Ubuntu announces next month unit with ‘convergence’ to

This project is codenamed Avila and supports both .deb-based and Xorg-dependent applications such as software developed specifically for Ubuntu Touch.

Convergence was released already presented in 2012 by Canonical and in 2013 became the first developer preview of Ubuntu on Tablet. With convergence, a phone or tablet into a full-fledged desktop environment transformed by a monitor, mouse and keyboard connect to the tablet. Currently the project is still in the testing phase and is waiting for Unity and eight Canonical own video server Mir.
Canoncal declined to comment on the rumors was told OMG Ubuntu, but indicated that they are at the MWC 2016.
