Rumors: iPad Air 2 will be released in October, the new iPad mini – until 2015




Apple is preparing to release the next generation iPad Air, according to Taiwanese publication Commercial Times citing informed sources. Argues that the presentation of the tablet iPad Air 2 will be held next month, which partially confirms the previous rumors about the announcement of new items on 21 October.


Apple has traditionally held in the fall, two special press conference. The first is devoted to updating the smartphone iPhone, the second – a tablet iPad. In 2012, the company held a presentation on 23 October 2013 – 22 October. This year, as expected, the event is also scheduled for Tuesday, which falls on October 21. Immediately after showing the new Apple tablet will release the final version of OS X Yosemite for the Mac.

According to the publication, this year, Apple will change the tradition and update only one new model of iPad. Announcement of iPad mini 3 will take place no earlier than 2015. And in the second quarter of next year, the company plans to start production of iPad Pro with 12.9-inch screen.

It is assumed that the second generation iPad Air will receive 2 GB of RAM, which is twice as much as its predecessor. The device is a fingerprint reader Touch ID, Apple A8 processor with coprocessor M8, an improved camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels and an upgraded speaker, which will reduce the thickness of the tablet.
