Yesterday, the Federation Council Committee held a meeting on the development of the information society, where it was decided to send a request to the Prosecutor General to investigate the situation with access NSA USA to the personal data of Russian citizens.

The initiator of the special meeting was Chairman Ruslan Gattarov (pictured below), who said that access a foreign country to the personal data of Russian citizens violates the right to privacy, to personal and family privacy, as guaranteed by the Russian Constitution and the law “On Personal Data”.
