Saints Row: Hole out of Hell – Too skinny for their own feet

In Summary
Hole out of Hell is a standalone expansion Saints Row IV where you do not need to possess. He also only costs 20 euros. Yet we find the expansion too skinny; opponents are boring and by the powerful Arcane Powers is all too easy. Flying is fun, thus upgrading the Arcane Powers, but that is not enough to justify the price.

To Fly
Arcane Powers
Boring opponents
Monotonous appearance

Review Saints Row: Hole out of Hell

This knowledge is important because it makes clear how to judge out of Hell Hole. It is “only” an expansion that is offered for a ditto price. The game is available for download for 20 euros. A beam of a polished version of Saints Row IV and out of Hell Hole appears for Windows, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for 50 euros. That out of Hell Hole is only an extension, is also evident in the content. You’re faster than through Saints Row IV. There is, as befits an open world game, to do everything in the game, even beyond the story line. If you, however, limited to the latter, you’re pretty quick.

Johnny and Kinzie

Central to the story is obviously the unnamed leader of the Saints, the criminal gang which the series is named. The chief plays simultaneously starring and supporting roles. In previous games you stepped into his shoes to personally lead the Saints to world domination. That is different here. After playing a game with a ouija board the gang leader is abducted by none other than the devil, who sees the candidate him to marry his daughter. Then begins a game in which you must try to free him from the clutches of Satan.

For that you have a suitable character: Johnny Gat, formerly a mere boastful assistant. He is eager to prove himself and has a simple plan: to travel to hell, the devil, and look him in the face ‘Shoot: case solved. The rest of the Saints see what bears on the road and remains in the upper world behind. Only the nerdy Kinzie Kensington sees adventure in hell or sit, so the two travel through a portal to the underworld.
