Saitek’s Pro Flight X-56 Rhino HOTAS based on the popular X-55, but adapted to the requirements of space-sims. Like the X-55 is composed of the X-56 from two parts, one for the control stick and a separate part for throttle. The X-56 has Saitek there now added two small analog sticks to that pitch, roll, yaw, backwards, forwards, up, down, left and right are all operated separately.
Saitek moreover has the shape and placement of the buttons slightly adapted, in the hope that the X-56 is thus easier to handle when it is used in combination with a VR headset. Saitek says that the buttons are thus easier to find by touch.
To emphasize that the X-56 is focused on playing space-sims is the joystick feature distinctive blue color accents. Moreover sticks equipped with RGB lighting. The set is focused on playing space-sims like Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, though, traditional flight sims like Flight Simulator 2004 and X-Plane 10 also be played.
