Sample is not Made for iPhone products more make Apple
Apple Samples right to make accessories for iPhones under the Made for iPhone program deprived after Monster filed a lawsuit against Beats. Monster may now make more cables and headphones with MFi certification.
Apple has terminated the contract with the manufacturer Monster Made for iPhone program by May 5. Lawyers would have let know that the Monster “relationship between the two companies no longer in each other’s interests” was a reference to the lawsuit against Beats. Monster Beats daughter sued Apple earlier this year for fraud.
Monster had initially intellectual property on Beats headphones. Beats would be the intellectual property of the Beats by Dr. Dre line of headphones, however, have been given full control after buying back more than a quarter of the shares of HTC, while 51 percent of Beats HTC previously was held. Because it allows a change-of-ownership clause came into effect, Monster lost his license and that would have cost millions in lost revenue.
Now Monster also lose the license for the Made for iPhone / iPod / iPad program, it may no longer make Lightning cables and headphones that carry the logo of it. Also stops the sale of accessories in Apple Stores. However, Apple now can let go on sale until September this year. Monster took part in the program since 2005.
