Samsung 43 “-J5500 Review – Smooth smart TV without trimmings

Samsung J5500 is an excellent smart TV without undue fuss. Operation is smooth and also easy thanks to the Tizen OS. The sound quality is not to write home about, but have most televisions affected. What viewing angles, contrast and uniformity concerns score some other TVs better, but the color of the J5500 is good without having received the necessary first calibration. The inputlag is low, making this TV a good choice for gamers, even if you have to take for granted that the backlight automatically adjusts to the image content.

Smooth Operation
Good color rendering
Energy efficient
Low inputlag

Backlight uniformity could be better
Viewing angles not hold on
Automatic backlight in game mode

If we look at the sales of televisions we see that UHDTV are on the rise, but still chooses the majority of TV buyers for a regular HDTV. For the vast majority, the fact no point in buying an expensive UHDTV, because there is still little but bitter to look at uhd. Television broadcasts will be in the Netherlands and Belgium for many years in hd place, and Netflix can admittedly a couple of series and find some documentary associate professors, but the films are still only available in HD.

Moreover, the difference between an HD and an associate professor television only visible in the large image sizes and many people do not quite have such a large TV in their living room. For people who have a regular HDTV without unnecessary bells and whistles like, the J5500 Samsung, we see in this review, an interesting option. This smart TV is available in five sizes between 32 and 55 inches, which we the 43 “model tested. This model was at the time of writing for five hundred euros in the Pricewatch.
