Samsung brings QLED TVs in late March with starting price of 2299 euros




Samsung starts selling its line of QLED TVs in the UK in late March and the starting price is over 2299 euros, while the most expensive TV 20.000 euros will cost. The high-end models are available with screen sizes of 49 inches to 88 inches.

The QLED line sits at the top of Samsung’s portfolio of TVs for 2017 and consists of 49 “- to 88” models that can display full DCI-P3 color space according to the manufacturer. The Q7C- and Q8C series consist of curved screens and a maximum brightness of 1500cd / m². The flat Q9F series has peaks of 2000cd / m². The cheapest model is the flat Q7F, the 49 “version will cost 2299 euros.

The TVs come with a One Remote Control and contain an optical cable for one Connect break-outbox, where all connections are mounted. Samsung introduced the TVs in January; Tweakers eyeing the aircraft when at CES. The TVs do contain a quantum dot film, like previous models, but no quantumdotleds who like OLEDs can be turned off completely for a perfect black display. The QLED line Samsung will compete with OLED models from other TV manufacturers. OLED TVs are now at less than 1500 euros get .

One step lower in Samsung’s range are the premium UHD TVs. These include a 10bits panel and allows up to 1000cd / m 2 display. The models are available with screen diagonals of 49 inches to 82 inches. They come in handy later in the second quarter, with price from 1399 euros.

Finally, Samsung presents its Active CrystalColor UHD TV line. This is the mainstream line with uhd resolution of the company. These include 40 “- and 65” -televisies coming to hit stores from 899 euros.
