Samsung brings VR goggles for Note 4 late January in Netherlands – update




Samsung brings the Gear VR January 30 in the Netherlands. Initially, the virtual reality glasses that made it with Oculus would appear this year, but Samsung has its release date postponed for unknown reasons.

The Gear VR only works in combination with the Galaxy Note 4 , which was published in October in the Netherlands. The smartphone is inserted into the side of the glasses and reveal the VR images on the 5.7 “screen with resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.

The Gear along with Oculus VR is developed and the first VR glasses from a major manufacturer that opens in the Netherlands. The consumer version of the Rift Oculus is scheduled for 2015, while Sony is working on his Morpheus seat for the PlayStation 4. Gear VR will only appear in the color white. The retail price is 199 euros, but with wireless Game Pad Controller, customers must pay 249 euros.

Update, 13:00: Samsung Benelux says that the Gear VR does not appear in Belgium.
