Samsung cleaves printer business and sells it to HP




Samsung sold its printer business. This was announced today. The global printer business goes to HP, but printers are following in Korea continue to be sold under the brand Samsung, they then come however from HP. To perform this sale to HP, the printer business is cleaved by 1 November and then goes to 100 percent of HP. This includes all investments worldwide. Samsung’s printer business includes 6,000 employees, a production facility in China and more than 50 sales offices, which is distributed in the world. Samsung called neither a selling price nor whether the employees are taken over by HP. The entire process should be completed within one year. In addition, Samsung announced the appointment of Jay Y.
