Samsung denies quit own WhatsApp competitor




Samsung denies that it stops its own WhatsApp competitor ChatON. The manufacturer said in a statement that the rumor about stopping the chat service are incorrect. That report came out Tuesday.

Samsung says ChatON users worldwide can continue to use, as is the statement that tech site The Verge published first. Thus the electronics company denies the rumor that appeared online Tuesday, where a South Korean newspaper claimed that Samsung ChatON would phase out .

ChatON had at one time 100 million users, but how many there are currently unknown. Samsung has never given user numbers for the Netherlands or Belgium. At present ChatON available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry phones.
