Samsung Is Developing A New Mobile Modem

That Offers Internet Speed Of Up To 1.2 Gb / S

Samsung said on Monday it has developed a LTE network modulator capable of delivering data speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps in a new development that brings high-speed mobile devices.

The new technology for the fourth-generation modems, which will be included in the next generation of mobile processors, is the industry’s first to support six bandwidths for the so-called “carrier assembly” CA, the consumer electronics giant said in a statement .

Samsung explained that the “carrier assembly” CA is based on combining a certain number of carriers with different bandwidths, which improves data transfer rates and network performance. By increasing the aggregation capacity of the previous five bandwidths of the previous model to six, the new LTE modem technology will provide faster and more stable data transfers.

Samsung, the world’s largest maker of smartphones, said the Exynos 9 series, launched earlier this year, was able to provide 1 Gbps download speeds and was the first in the industry to support 5 Offers.

By working closely with Enrizzo, a provider of telecommunication measuring devices, the company has been able to offer six range offerings for CA and Cat.18, To 1.2 Gbps.

Samsung said the 20% increase in maximum download speeds allowed mobile users to download a full HD movie in just 10 seconds. “Users will be able to enjoy video calls and live broadcasts without cutting.”

The company expects to begin mass production to address the new technology later this year, suggesting that its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9, may support download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps.
