Find a Question:
Samsung is preparing another clever bracelet
If you think that the expansion of Samsung’s wearable electronics market is over, you are wrong. Appeared new information suggests that, in addition exhibited at MWC-2014 Smart Gear 2 hours and 2 Gear Neo, a fitness bracelet Gear Fit (pictured above) at the South Korean giant is left in store something else.
Whatever it was, according to Samsung, the new trend in the market should be a device that somehow care about the health of their respective owners. It turns out that the company is developing another device that will reflect this trend. A few days ago there was mention of it in the Federal Agency of Communications (FCC), which states that the gadget is called S-Circle.
Documents submitted to the FCC, reported that S-Circle is a “sensor tracking activity owner” with protocol support Bluetooth Low Energy. This information puts the device in line with the gadgets and S Band Heart Rate Monitor Band, which the company launched with the start of sales of the former flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 last year.
It is likely that S-Circle combines the two mentioned above devices and, more importantly, will be sold at an attractive price. Function gadget will be to monitor the activity of the owner and general health indicators, which can then be sent via Bluetooth Low Energy directly into mobile app S-Health.
Recently ran the information that fitness bracelet Gear Fit will be priced at $ 199/145 euros. But as S-Circle actually will offer far less variety of functions, it is expected that the new product, if it really goes on sale, will cost even less.
